Dear children,

How are you? Have you already written the letter to Santa?

During last Monday's lesson we wrote (in English) a letter to Father Christmas and the Three Wise men. You did beautiful letters with very good pictures of the toys you wanted. We hanged them on the classroom's wall.

We played Simon says and a drawing game to check the vocabulary learnt since the beginning of the course. The teacher said,  draw a red door,  and the children drew it on their notebooks.We sang the Christmas song Santa Claus is coming to town and started thinking about a dance with the Jingle Rock music.

At the end of the lesson we watched Peppa Pig's special Christmas episode, it was awesome! Here you have the link so you can watch it again as many times as you wish.

WEEKS 9 AND 10

Dear parents and children,

First of all I would like to apologise for not having written and entry last week. I was ill with a throat infection.

During our ninth lesson we learnt about feelings with the help of 9 froggies. A child did the mimics and the rest of the class had to guess the feeling he/ she was representing. For example, angry or scared.
We learnt the name of different items of clothing playing a memory game. We sang our favourite songs and did the actions.

The children got very excited with the activities and shouted a lot.

Last Monday we learnt the different body parts. We did a drawing game to practise the bodyparts, we revised numbers 1-20 and played memory games. We listened to some Christmas carols and talked about the toys the children want for Christmas.

WEEK 8

Dear kids,

How are you?? Did you have a nice week?
During our last lesson we learnt vocabulary about home. We learnt words like mirror, sofa, armchair or kitchen. We did some listening exercises to practise our comprehension skills.

We played games like Memory or Simon says. It was very funny because while playing Simon says each of you had the opportunity to be the teacher and give the orders to the rest of the class.
At the end of the lesson we watched Room on the broom a fanstastic story about a good witch and some animals.

Hi children!
How are you since our last lesson?

During our seventh class we learnt a lot of vocabulary about toys. We did some listening activities and we learnt to answer questions like:

- Whose doll is this?
- It's Lucia's

- Whose robot is this?
- It's Adrian's

We practised vocabulary with a new game called Memory and we sang and danced some songs. Here you have a new song to learn and dance with your parents at home.

WEEK 6

Dear students,
How are you? Did you have a nice time in Halloween?

Last Monday we learnt adjectives like old, young, ugly, beautiful, happy or sad to describe our family. We continued practising the name of the different family members and asking and answering questions about people.

We did some Halloween activities. We completed a wordsearch and practised vocabulary with a colouring activity. We sang our favourite songs while we worked and watched a scary video at the end of the lesson.

Adrian behaved well and was very participative.

Hello children!

How are you? Are you preparing your costumes for Halloween?

Last Monday we improved our listening skills with some exercises about the classroom vocabulary.We also enjoyed ourselves very much with a listening and colouring exercise. We learnt new vocabulary with Flashcards and as you asked me we played number Bingo again, you are becoming real experts in numbers 1-20!!

Hello Kids!

Last Monday we sang the Family Finger song that we had for homework.I am very happy because you are great singers.
We answered the teacher when she asked:

-Is this an elephant? (showing a tiger)
-No, it isn't, it is a tiger!

We learnt different parts of the body with the Head shoulders knees and toes song, at first it was a bit difficult but after some practice everybody knew where their knees or ears were.
We continued revising numbers from 1-20 playing Bingo. We also played the colour game.
The teacher said RED!!! and the children had to draw red things like fire, apples or tomatoes. It was funny.

At the end of the lesson, after all this work we were tired and watched a 5 minute episode of Peppa Pig.

Alejandro worked very hard and drew beautiful pictures.

Hello children!

Last Monday we had a great time playing BINGO and revising the numbers.
We learnt the name of new animals and sang a new song called Listen, Listen. We contihued using vocabulary about the classroom and answering questions about various topics.

Hello everybody!!!

Yesterday we had a great time in class. We learnt to ask simple questions about people, animals and things. We played  "the colour game" and Simon says. We revised the numbers and learnt the "10 fat sausages sitting on a pan" song.

Every player in the class got 5 points for the Olympic games.

I would like to say that Pablo and Lucía behaved really well during the whole lesson and were very cooperative and polite.
